Section 2D : How to make Metal License Plates

Temperature: 360°
Time: 45-50 Seconds
Pressure: Medium

1. Prepare your artwork and transfer with consideration to the size of the license plate.
2. Using heat resistant tape, fasten the FRP item(s) in position facing the printed side of the transfer.
3. Spread a teflon sheet (or white paper) on the bottom of the press.
4. Lay the license plate face up (transfer, face-down) on the heat press.
5. Cover license plate and transfer with teflon sheet (or white paper).
6. Press for 45-50 seconds
7. Remove the license plate and transfer from the press.
8. Slowly peel the tape and transfer from the license plate.
9. Allow to cool on a clean surface.
